What Kind of Video editing software can I get for free?

I’m new to making vids and i want to put some on youtube. But I want a editing software that is for free. I have a Flip Video Ultra. Not the ultra hd just the ultra. Thanks so much.

That camera comes with software. Otherwise, Movie Maker is free and easy to use.
most people swear by windows movie maker and there are alot of pro tools free for linux.. theres gonna be a VLC editor soon but its not out yet…
if for free, that’s the windows movie maker. latest version 2.6.
If you won’t care the money, try the AVS video editor, famous and shareware.
