What is the easiest to use video editing software? I'm talking cool effects/ the works not cut and paste?

I need a video editing software for a MAC computer that is decently easy to use and get used to that has the works. I dont mean like iMovie because I have that and it is getting old. Not to much options with iMovie. I mean full out cool effects, transitions and everything. If you dont know of any please reccomend a good effect add on to iMovie
