Why would you want to convert your video you ask? Well as we know some editing software is unable to edit a specific kind of video format. So by converting it your video can be turned into a number of different formats that can now be edited in the video editing software. I’ve noticed that many people can’t find freeware that allows you to convert from MOV to whatever Windows Movie Maker would support. So, I did a bit of searching and found a simple way to do so without installing or downloading anything, and its free. If you have a video which is bigger than this, search Google for SUPER and download their program, which is free, but a bit more complicated. Since starting to make videos, I sometimes used an MP3 player to record sounds and voice parts particularly if doing split screen. You can record one part and play it back through an earpiece when recording the second part so you can time it properly. Since I gave my MP3 away to my elderly neighbour I missed this. Then I came accross Tekhseven’s excellent video on how to use your mobile phone as a wireless microphone. I’ll show you how to use the captured audio in Sony Vegas to match up and synch with your video although any editing program should be the same.
