I’ve noticed that many people can’t find freeware that allows you to convert from MOV to whatever Windows Movie Maker would support. Since starting to make videos, I sometimes used an MP3 player to record sounds and voice parts particularly if doing split screen. You can record one part and play it back through an earpiece when recording the second part so you can time it properly. Since I gave my MP3 away to my elderly neighbour I missed this. Then I came accross Tekhseven’s excellent video on how to use your mobile phone as a wireless microphone. I’ll show you how to use the captured audio in Sony Vegas to match up and synch with your video although any editing program should be the same. I plan to make high quality videos for my group, houstondodgeball.com and I need the best video editing software. Like everyone I have a budget. 0 is my limit for a camcorder (I dream about those 00 pro HD camcorders *sigh*). So far it looks likes adobe premier is most popular. I have cyberlink power director 8 and I hate it. I can’t even fade out/in music!!! Really? Windows movie maker lets you fade out music for crying out loud! So maybe Adobe premier will work best? What do you think? …I tried adobe but sony vegas is less complicated, so it works for me now.

If your a Windows XP user and you would like to get HD in Windows Movie Maker, go to this link: www.youtube.com Important notes: One thing to make sure of is if your video is already in High quality, this video is going to get you the HD option but only if the video your editing with is in good quality. You also want to make sure that your video can handle youtubes size, usually its 1280 x 720 at 720p of 16:9 aspect ratio, but some phones or camcorders can maybe only give you a 4:3 aspect ratio. hi all because i am no longer using sony vegas and because a few of you have asked me i decided to look to see if i could find some editing software that would work with the kodak Zi8. the best i found was: Movie Edit Pro 14 & 15 Corel Video Studio pro x2 Pinnacle Studio v14 these where the cheapest and the best for what you pay. sorry about the jumps. i am using movie edit pro 14 and i am not used to it yet. one thing to note, this video was imported straight from my kodak zi8. i didnt have to convert i just edited straight from the kodak. also the file was only 22 mb. not bad. hope you enjoy. How to make video movies with green screen and many video and audio effects cheaply. There are many cheap and even some free video editors that have more features than Windows Movie Maker. This ten minute tutorial shows some effects that are available with Magix Movie Edit Pro 2004, which is no longer available. There are newer versions of Magix video editors and other brands of video editors which have some of the same effects. If you are a beginner, this will tell you what to search for when you want features. There are some artifacts and glitches in the green screen scenes caused by the yellow shirt that has a tendency to have green shadows. I had to overcompensate to adjust the shirt green coloring and I had to opt between the shirt disappearing or the background having a lot of green smudge. In future vids I will use different colors and different lighting for the green screen shots.
