This is just a simple test video I made to test out the features of Macintosh’s IMovie ‘09. I used Quicktime to record the video footage, but otherwise, I was just using IMovie ‘09. I was very happy with the results of IMovie ‘09. I think it is a very good program for beginners like me, and I would totally recommend this editing software for a beginner who wants a professional, and easy editing software. I also am in love with the UI, as well as all of the other UI’s of ILife ‘09 applications. I think the sleek, modern, clean cut design looks nice and professional. Even though I was not able to directly upload to YouTube because of an error found, it’s great how you can do direct uploads to YouTube, Media Browser, Itunes, IDVD and MobileMe. As well as export in three different ways. I hadn’t explored all features of this application, and I didn’t think that you could publish in HD, and since I used webcam footage, I thought it was going to be poor quality when it was uploaded on youtube but to my surprise, it’s capable of 720p.
