Here is my problem: IM trying to assemble a basic gaming movie, and all of a sudden my Windows Movie Maker (which worked fine once or twice) stops to respond. So i need a pretty basic movie editing program, free ofcource, with the same features as Windows movie maker. Any ideas?

I’m using using a canon T1I to record my videos but windows movie maker won’t read some of the files and the ones that it does read, the sound is off and it’s driving me nuts. Any suggestions please before this computer meets it”s DOOM!
you might need a codec, do a google search.

Every Mac comes with iLife preinstalled. I´ve got 3 Macs here and all of them had iLife preinstalled, you don´t have to buy it. If you don´t believe me head over to the Apple Site and take a look.
