How to Make a Homemade 40mm Airsoft RPG-7

Another Aderonn Airsoft Review. This is a video demonstrating how to make a homemade airsoft RPG-7 replica that fires 40mm airsoft grenade shells. Costing less than to make, this is a cheap, and still nice looking, alternative to expensive 0+ airsoft RPG-7 replicas made by companies like RAP4. This RPG took me about 20 hours to make, which was dispersed over 1 week’s time due to some parts needing to dry over night. I hope this video helps you if you decide to make one of my RPG-7′s, and if you do, be sure to post a video response of it or send pictures of it to aderonnairsoft@gmail.com Please excuse any stuttering or repetition of words in the voiceover, as i am using some new editing software and had trouble editing out the mess-ups. Here’s a link for where to get a 40mm airsoft grenade shell: www.airsoftpost.com

That’s a lot more complicated than I imagined it to be. Very cool. JB Weld is a 2 part epoxy, I think there is some metal powder in it for strength. They also make a “JB Kwik” 5 minute version, but I think JB Weld is stronger. I fixed a transmission with the stuff, it’s pretty amazing.

  5. aderonn says:

yeah. i like it alot. this was my first time using it but it proves to be very strong.

  15. aderonn says:

it was easier for me to just take pics along the way as i made it than it would have been to video tape me making it.. it was a pain to do but it was easier than trying to explain it using the finished product.

  17. aderonn says:

airsoftgi or evike, cheapest you will find is like $15 to $20

  18. Eatchin says:

how is the grenade shell triggered?

  19. aderonn says:

there is a little button on the back, and when it gets pressed, the grenade fires. so the trigger mechanism is a modified caulking gun. so when you pull the trigger, the rod pushes the button on the grenade, firing it off.
