HELP! What is the best video editing software?!

I plan to make high quality videos for my group, houstondodgeball.com and I need the best video editing software. Like everyone I have a budget. 0 is my limit for a camcorder (I dream about those 00 pro HD camcorders *sigh*). So far it looks likes adobe premier is most popular. I have cyberlink power director 8 and I hate it. I can’t even fade out/in music!!! Really? Windows movie maker lets you fade out music for crying out loud! So maybe Adobe premier will work best? What do you think? …I tried adobe but sony vegas is less complicated, so it works for me now.

Yeah, I use Cyberlink Powerdirector v8. You can fade in and out music on it. But I hate it as well… I am also looking right now for a new program.

get adobe premier I have tried sony vegas but its really bot very good seriously its features are limited pay a little bit more money and get adobe premier or if thats to expensive get pinnacle studio 12 ultimate

Adobe Premier wins! I also go “after affects” by adobe, can’t wait to sit down and use this stuff – THIS is what the top people in you tube are using but won’t tell you from what I been able to find out. I haven’t even started using it yet, but just reviewing all its features is mind blowing. Now I just need an HD camcorder $500 and then I can be more popular than “Fred.”
I think the best editing software is Camtasion Studio 6. You can do all sorts of things with it. I will tell you when i upload a video about it(for free)

Adobe premier cs4, but its complicated and I think I will just use Cyberlink director 7.
cyberlink director 7 or 8 and sony vegas are very similiar. The most common and affordable (mostly because of price) that a lot of people use is sony vegas 9 but adobe premier is only 20-30 dollars more honestly, its up to you. You will spend $50-100 on a good video editing software program – in the world of software, buyer beware!

3ds max adobe after affects funal cut pro sony vegas Those are the best in my opinion ( you could probably download form Torrents) HAVE FUN !!!
for the the best result I recommend Media Composer by Avid, bout $2500 or Apple’s Final cut pro about $1000, and last Adobe premier about $700. You could also use the sony software.
@kaloamani thanks, that’s very informative. I’m using sony vegas. adobe was too complicated for me and I don’t want to spend a week learning a program just so I can do amateur video editing. The people on youtube with truly great videos are spending hours putting together videos and I would rather make this a small hobby. I salute those of you with mad video editing skills, bravo.
Wow, don’t use the youtube auto transcript/caption on your videos unless you speak very slowly. Otherwise it doesn’t work, lol.
