Adobe Premiere Elements – Part Two

Lee Keller and Kim Cavanaugh take a quick look at the many features on Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0. This version is for Windows computers only, but is as easy to use as any other program for basic video editing. Actually, basic over-simplifies the many features of this program. It’s also great for youtube users since it will publish directly to your youtube account! It doesn’t get much easier than that. Take a look at this and the other videos about Adobe Premiere Elements here on Palm Breeze CAFE, Convenient and Flexible Education.

The red line on the timeline shows where the video is at. You showed how to cut video from the beginning of the video. I discovered that can be done to cut video from the end. How can you cut a section in the middle?

how many transitions and effects does it have?

  4. PalmBreezeCAFE says:

This segment was on a previous version. It has lots of transitions. Download it for a free 30 eval and play with all the tools. There’s a lot to this.

I have downloaded Premiere elements 8. When I hit new project or even organizer it appears to be loading elements of the program….a warning dialogue box says it’s just trial version with not all the features but then when I click ok the whole thing disappears……
    Please advise

I haven’t installed 8 yet. Typically, all features are not loaded. They load as you need them to keep the program more trim. Some require a process to download it when you’re ready for it.
