Adobe Premiere Elements – Part One

Lee Keller and Kim Cavanaugh take a quick look at the many features on Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0. This version is for Windows computers only, but is as easy to use as any other program for basic video editing. Actually, basic over-simplifies the many features of this program. It’s also great for youtube users since it will publish directly to your youtube account! It doesn’t get much easier than that. Take a look at this and the other videos about Adobe Premiere Elements here on Palm Breeze CAFE, Convenient and Flexible Education.

I have problem with import .avi file.
its saids the media doesn’t support.
    Please helps

  6. PalmBreezeCAFE says:

Different .avi files created with different programs may have proprietary headers. This makes them unusable on many computers unless you have the software with which the file was created installed on the same computer. What was the .avi created from? Also, this video was done with an older version of Premiere Elements. Upgrading to the latest version may also solve your problem. Remember, you can download it and use it free for 30 days.

I have adobe premiere elements 7.I really like it but lately it has been doing some weird stuff. The most annoying issue is the media offline. The file is in the same spot as when I uploaded it but , it has the red screen, if I move the actual scene with the red offline screen, the picture will pop back like it was online again, but every time I go to edit I have to do this. Is this a glitch or if not, how may I fix it?

  14. PalmBreezeCAFE says:

You have a weird one there. Adobe has forums where you could post the problem. Someone may have a similar experience and a solution.

I recently got Adobe Premiere Elements 8, and I’ll just say this for you people who are wondering if it’s good to buy:
7 worked at our computer, and we had windows 6. But 8? Stopped all the time. I really wanted to be able to use 8, so my dad got us Windows 7. Does it work? No. Stops almost at once. But it is a hell of a good program, so I’ll give you this advice; Only buy if you have a powerful computer.

  22. shadow3245 says:

can someone tell me how to work the setup for adobe premier elements 8? im using the trial.

  23. PalmBreezeCAFE says:

You’d have to be more specific. You just install it. It’s pretty straight forward. The trial is only for 30 days so get busy!
